The Joint Commission recognized LewisGale Hospital Montgomery for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures during 2012 for heart attack, pneumonia and surgical care.
Out of the more 3,300 hospitals submitting 2012 accountability measures data to The Joint Commission, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery was one of only 1099 to meet or exceed the targeted rates of performance.
In addition to being included in The Joint Commission’s “Improving America’s Hospitals” annual report, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is recognized on The Joint Commission’s Quality Check website, qualitycheck.org.
