Low Moor, VA, October 2015 – In support of all local law enforcement, LewisGale Hospital Alleghany is holding a “Blue Out” on Friday, November 6. On this day, the hospital is encouraging its staff to wear blue and to take a moment to say thank you to the men and women who serve the community.
The hospital is also providing free lunch to all local law enforcement in the cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, the public is also invited to stop by and pay their respects and to enjoy lunch in the cafeteria as well. The community is also encouraged to wear blue on this day.
“We are both in the business of taking care of the community and share a common bond of helping our neighbors,” said Charlotte Tyson, CEO, LewisGale Hospital Alleghany. “In light of the recent events involving law enforcement being targeted, we want show our local officers they have our support and that we appreciate their service and sacrifice.”
