Our Kind of Person - Judy Plemmons
Teachers are essential to creating a better tomorrow. But teachers like Lewis-Gale Medical Center employee Judy Plemmons are also helping people live better today. As the coordinator for a diabetes education program at the Bradley Free Clinic, Judy is helping people learn about diabetes and how to cope with it. They’re learning how to eat right. How to exercise better. But Judy does more than just answer questions. She’s a comfort in the face of the unknown. She’s a friend. She’s a teacher. And we couldn’t think of a higher compliment than that.
They say that knowledge is the key to unlocking the possibilities that lie within each of us. We know, because we see it every day at Lewis-Gale Medical Center. And that’s what makes Judy Plemmons our kind of people.
