Our Kind of Person - Mary Colwell
What is it that defines us? Our jobs? Our accomplishments? For Mary Colwell, R.N., of Lewis-Gale Medical Center, it's not one thing, but two: her love of nursing, and her strong Christian faith. Together with her husband Rob, Mary serves with an international medical missions group traveling to the most remote villages of Honduras. They bring much needed medicine to heal the body, and words of faith and hope to heal the soul. And there, in some of the world’s most impoverished villages, one can find the true strength of the human spirit.
They say that the power to change a life lies within each of us. We know, because we see it every day at Lewis-Gale Medical Center. And that’s what makes Mary Colwell our kind of people.
