Rehabilitation is More Than a Walk in the Park
That's why you might be surprised to find that we call our unique, real-world rehab model environment "Easy Street." This unique set up, -- the only one in our service area – simulates real-world environments such as a grocery store, bank, streets and sidewalks, and even an automobile. The thinking behind Easy Street is to expose patients to the obstacles and challenges they'll face when they're no longer in a hospital setting, before they leave the hospital. In place since 1993, we've found that including Easy Street as part of a patient's rehabilitation program helps restore physical strength, endurance, coordination and range of motion.
