Salem, VA, June 1, 2012 – HCA Virginia and Coventry Health Care of Virginia (Coventry) announced today that they have signed a new contract effective today. Under the terms of the agreement, LewisGale Medical Center and LewisGale Hospitals in Alleghany, Blacksburg, and Pulaski are now full providers for all Coventry products, including Southern Health, CareNet, Mailhandlers, and First Heath plans. A previous contract between HCA Virginia and Coventry had expired on April 1, 2012.
