We realize these are unprecedented times for our community as we all work to reduce the effects of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and truly appreciate the generous outpouring of support.

Keep yourself and others healthy

Stay home whenever possible, wash your hands often and practice social distancing by staying at least six feet away from others. Follow these and all of the guidelines set forth by local, state and federal public health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we work to slow the spread of the virus.

Caring for our caregivers

Organize efforts to assist our caregivers with childcare, shopping and meals. Thanks, in advance, for showing your support to these heroes who are doing what they do best – caring like family!

Make a product donation*

HCA Healthcare LewisGale Regional Health System truly appreciates the generous outpouring of support we are receiving from the communities/community we serve. However, based on current CDC guidelines, we are not accepting homemade masks at this time.

We will gladly accept donations of manufactured, approved masks, face shields and other personal protective equipment from hardware stores, schools or other sources.

COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma Program: Donors needed now!

The Red Cross is seeking people who are fully recovered from COVID-19 to give plasma to help current patients who are seriously ill or at high risk of serious illness.

You may qualify if you:

• are at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 lbs.
• are in good health and feeling well.
• have a verified prior diagnosis of COVID-19.
• are fully recovered and have been symptom-free for at least 14 days, as determined by your medical provider.

If you meet all the criteria above and are willing to help, please fill out the Donor Eligibility Form.

Donate blood

If you are interested in helping our community in others ways, we urge you to consider making a blood donation through the American Red Cross as our nation’s blood supplies are critically low.

Donate money

If you would like to help the underserved in our community during this time, please consider making a financial contribution directly to your favorite non-profit organization or to one of our community’s COVID-19 response funds that will help numerous non-profits support those in need.

Donations can also be made to the HCA Hope Fund, which helps LewisGale Regional Health System colleagues during times of financial stress.
