Scheduling a diagnostic lab appointment
Our diagnostic lab provides services for collection and analysis of blood samples and other specimens as requested by your referring physician.
Outpatient scheduling is arranged between the lab and your participating provider. Appointment times are scheduled between 7am and 6pm, Mon - Fri.
You can schedule additional diagnostic testing at our imaging services unit with a referring physician's orders.
Visiting our diagnostic laboratory
The outpatient diagnostics and laboratory unit is located on the first floor within LewisGale Hospital Alleghany. You can park in the general hospital parking lot and enter through the main entrance.
All patients need to register at the front desk of the hospital before following marked signs to the diagnostic lab. Be sure to bring any paperwork your physician provided.
