What to bring to your imaging appointment

Be sure to bring your insurance information, a list of medications you are currently taking and any additional paperwork provided to you by your doctor. You will be instructed by your doctor on any limitations on food or water prior to your appointment.
Preparing for a mammogram
If you are scheduled for a mammogram, refrain from using deodorant, lotions or powders under the arms or on the chest as they can appear as white spots on the exam. For accurate imaging and reduced discomfort it may be best to avoid scheduling your mammogram for the week before your period.
